Jamie Woodfin is one of those rare musicians whose creative energy allows him to play and produce rocking outlaw country that breathes new life into the genre.

It's a passion that was sparked early on. "When you grow up in a household where the record player is on all day, it's hard not toLOVE music."

Woodfin hails from the town of Ponoka, Alberta, home of the Canadian Rodeo Hall of Fame. As a teen, he picked up his first guitar, learnedTO PLAY the drums and promptly formed a band which he fronted through junior and senior high. In his early 20's, he rediscovered the charm of country music and started following artists who would ultimately become his contemporaries -- gifted singer/songwriters such as Eric Church, Jamey Johnson and Dierks Bentley.

Today, Woodfin is more than ready for hisCAREER to take off.

He's backed by a tight band with members well-known across the Canadian country music scene. And this summer, he heads into the studio to record his firstSINGLES with plans for a follow-up EP.
